I have eaten both items and I am still losing weight and balancing blood sugars. The key is moderation and rehearsal a little bit more the next day. When you eat protein like steak or chicken and pork stay to a serving the size of a deck of cards.

If you like bread as I do then I would recommend buying sprouted grain breads they have half the carbs that whole wheat bread contains. Carbohydrates that are found in foods like breads and pasta and starchy foods like potatoes raise your blood sugar very quickly so you of course must limit these foods as much as possible. Vegetables and fruit are an important part of my diet.

I have a family history of diabetes. My dad passed away some time ago after suffering the effects of diabetes.
